Since World War II, 50 Welsh guardsmen and many other Welsh soldiers have died while serving their country in the Falklands, Northern Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan. On 25 August 2013, the first of 11 Walk on Wales relay teams will set off to walk the 870-mile Welsh Coast Path to raise £1 million for the Welsh Guards Afghanistan Appeal and Combat Stress.
Alongside those who have been killed, many others soldiers have sustained life-changing physical injuries and severe psychological trauma as a result of active service. With your support we can raise the vital funds needed to help the families of our fallen soldiers, our wounded and those who now face long-term mental health challenges.
Many young soldiers have given their all for our Country; join us and together we can help to look after them.
